Why can't I flip pentominoes in a puzzle?

Either the puzzle doesn't require flipping or you used a flip hint on this puzzle already. Please look at the flip icon at the top of the screen. If it is faded out and has a tick then all pieces are flipped in the correct direction and can only be rotated.

Why can't I use any more hints?

It's very likely you have used up all your free or previously bought hints.

How do I get free hints?

You can earn free hints by completing puzzles in your daily discovery.

I skipped the tutorial by accident. How do I play this game again?

Tap to rotate, double tap to flip, for hints, the flip all hint on the left will flip all hints correctly, and disable further flipping, and the reveal hint gives a preview of the completed image to assist in piece placement.
And the tutorial is accessible through the options!

Oh what are all these wonderful options?

Bottom only trays puts all your pentominoes on the bottom of the screen, floating buttons allow you to flip and rotate in mid-pentomino drag like a boss, (index and middle fingers recommended) and there is of course an option for lefties!
